The Pendragon Hotel is a former hotel in Southsea. The building occupies the site of 57-60 Clarence Parade.

It started out life as four separate dwellings - Barrington House, Kensington House, Oxford House and Cambridge House [1]. These buildings were converted into "The Pendragon" boarding house in 1920-21 under the ownership of Mary Joad and Francis Hammant.

1933 - Dissolution of Partnership between Francis Hammant and Mary Joad [2]
1936-39 - Converted to Pendragon Hotel [1]
1940 - Entire contents of hotel auctioned off [8]
1940 / WW2 - Became a branch of the Eye and Ear Hospital, then hostel for members of the WRNS. [7]
1950 - Empty - Proposed accommodation for Nurses [4]
1955 - Reopens January 5th as hotel under management of Trust Houses Ltd [7] [9]
1965 - Planning permission refused for conversion to flats [5]
1998 - Planning permission granted for conversion to 30 flats (main building) and 7 flats (rear building) [6]
2000-Present - Pendragon Apartments
